** Family & Friends No parties or large gatherings. This isn’t a party house, but if you’re meeting up with local friends or family, let us know. We’ll work with you on reasonable gatherings. ** Parking ✅ Circular gravel driveway fits 3 standard vehicles. We cannot accommodate more than that as it’s a violation of city law. ** Winter Weather ✅ 4WD/AWD or snow tires are recommended Nov–Mar. Snow removal begins after 6" of snowfall. ** Accessing the Cabin ✅ Our wonderful cabin is tucked away in nature, on a steep grade, and you need to walk up several steps to get to the front door. ✅ Be aware that this may not be a good fit for anyone with mobility issues. ** Safety & Security ✅ Two outdoor cameras (front door/walkway and backyard) are for your safety and required by insurance. ✅ No cameras inside the home, ever. Your privacy matters to us. ** Hot Tub & Sauna ✅ Professionally maintained with instructions in the Welcome Book. Please cover the hot tub when not in use. A $300 misuse fee applies if rules aren’t followed, plus repair costs if needed. ** Maryland Mountain Critters ✅ We share our mountain with deer, foxes, bears, and insects. Pest control is provided, but keep doors closed and food sealed to keep critters outdoors. ** Host Access ✅ Hosts may enter the property if something arises that impacts guest safety or the home’s well-being. ✨ At Trees Company, comfort meets nature, and every season has something to offer.
